We're seeking a mission-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join the founding team. This is a unique opportunity to receive co-founder-level equity and spearhead the development of AI that will transform lives, for the better, worldwide.
Role:
As Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Proven Success, your mission is to bring the technical vision to life, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy and values. You will lead the technology team, guiding decisions on scalability, security, and efficiency, while ensuring our AI platform empowers users to achieve their goals faster.
Tactically, your role will involve three core elements: advising, enacting, and learning.
Advising: Provide technical direction and feedback to the team, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision. Collaborate with clients and business leaders to tailor solutions that address user challenges.
Enacting: Lead the design, development, and execution of the AI platform, managing the product lifecycle from tech vision to deployment. Oversee a team of engineers, ensuring the delivery of a personalized, data-driven product that meets user needs.
Learning: Stay ahead of industry trends, fostering a culture of continuous growth and innovation. Create opportunities for your team to get new skills, ensuring both personal & career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the founding team to shape the technical direction and overall strategy.
- Drive innovation and align technology strategy with the company’s mission.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and high performance.
- Develop and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and user needs.
- Lead the creation of advanced AI-driven solutions that deliver personalized, actionable steps to users.
- Ensure scalability, security, and efficiency in all technological initiatives, using cutting-edge AI and machine learning approaches.
- Architect a robust, scalable AI platform that delivers real-time feedback and personalized actions to users.
- Oversee the full product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring smooth operation across systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments like sales, operations, and customer success to align technology with broader company goals.
- Build and lead a team of engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists, ensuring alignment with the company’s technical vision.
- Mentor and coach the technical team, promoting innovation and collaboration to continuously improve the product.
- Ensure that the team is supported with the tools and guidance necessary to deliver high-quality, scalable AI solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations, protecting user privacy while scaling the platform.
- Develop and manage robust data systems that enable real-time personalization and feedback, ensuring optimal user experiences.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and advancements in AI, incorporating them into the product for continuous improvement.
- Engage with enterprise clients and users to understand their needs, provide insights, and customize AI solutions to meet their goals.
- Ensure that the platform meets customer expectations by regularly gathering feedback and adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Present AI solutions and updates to clients, stakeholders, and teams, driving engagement and adoption of the platform.
Results:
- Establishes the foundational tech architecture and roadmap, ensuring scalability and alignment with the company’s vision.
- Leads the development and delivery of the MVP, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Develops early-stage product metrics (e.g., user engagement, feedback loops) to guide platform iterations and improvements.
- Gathers initial user insights and feedback to shape the development of the AI platform, prioritizing features based on user needs and market potential.
- Develops and implements a technical team onboarding and training program, leading to improved engineering efficiency, smoother team collaboration, and quicker execution of product iterations.
- Builds and leads the core engineering and AI teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Creates an internal culture of continuous learning and innovation, encouraging both personal and technical growth within the team.
- Fosters clear, concise, and impactful communication with leadership, team members, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all departments on technical strategy and product development goals.
- Makes scalable processes and systems within the engineering team that drive efficiency, streamline product development, and support a seamless handoff between other departments.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to align technology with business goals, laying the groundwork for customer success and future product scalability.
Requirements:
- Drive to solve complex problems and a strong desire to create a meaningful impact in personal growth and success.
- Value long-term commitment to see small improvements become compounding returns.
- Hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, and LLMs, with a background in software development, building things from scratch, and scalable systems.
- Preferred: 3+ years experience in AI, machine learning, and LLMs in a high-growth startup or in an innovative corporation.
- Preferred: Direct experience with the production and development of memory AI, generative AI, reinforcement learning AI, motivational AI, accountable AI, or NLP.
- Preferred: Experience working in leadership capacity in a fast-paced, startup-like environment (must be comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to a fast-changing environment).
- Preferred: Within the age range of 22-32 – because co-founders in the same age range have found to work best and succeed.
- Demonstrated passion for understanding the customer and creating a company culture that supports a positive customer experience.
- Experience as a creative problem solver that looks for new solutions versus status quo.
- Strong work ethic and growth mindset–with an obsession for learning and growing.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work autonomously.
- Dynamic leadership skills and strong analytical skills with the ability to take on opportunities for growth and inspire others to do the same.
- Demonstrated integrity and dedication to effective, efficient delivery of objectives.
- Willingness to travel and participate in physical and remote meetings with investors.
- Willingness to stay lean and frugal during the first few years of growing the business.
- Embrace remote work initially, with a willingness to transition to hybrid or in-person as the company grows.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa restrictions—due to future U.S. funding considerations, candidates who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents are preferred.
Location:
- Full-time position based in the United States. Fully remote in the first few months then transition to hybrid or in-person when enough funding is secured.
Availability:
- Able to work Monday - Friday 8 AM-5 PM
- Must be flexible to work additional hours/weekends as needed

1Base compensation and benefits will be set after the securement of funding. We are bootstrapped. And we're getting pre-seed funding from Sequoia Capital.
2Significant equity is determined based on the total number of co-founders divided equally. The proposed equity scheme is: 30% equity for CEO (founder), 30% equity for CTO (co-founder), 10% equity for investors, 30% equity for employees. This may be subject to change as we bring in investors/advisors.
3Our business model and strategy is industry agnostic. Meaning, our total addressable market spans all businesses globally, with enormous potential due to our focus on improving productivity, mental health, and real personal growth, at scale.
